We are invited into the first steps of Jesus' ministry. He has come to John to declare his public ministry, he has been tested in the wilderness. He begins his ministry by going north into the rural areas he knows so well to begin to assemble his inner circle of friends, disciples, or, as we call them now "the apostles." From these humble beginnings, the world is changed forever and we are a part of that transition.

Fred and Sue Mansbridge just keep going along taking a day at a time. That is good news.
Elsie Chappel shared a birthday card with me that had a picture of her at three or four. It was cute .
We are looking forward to our annual meeting this Sunday after church with a hearty lunch to follow.

Sunday February 19 - A fun and fund raiser. Pancake Lunch, a festive time of sharing great food together. Invite your friends. Starts at 12 Noon. Only $8 per person $25 max per family.
Saturday, March 31st; 10 am -2 pm. Many exciting vendors / bake sale / silent auction / barbeque. Just in time for Easter!!
Saturday April 7 - A community lunch with the "Easter Bunny". Fun for all.
